I’m Mary. Years ago, I serendipitously stumbled into the world of event management and never looked back. I’m easily excited by details and the opportunity to deliver a well executed event experience.

Professional Summary

In 2012, I graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Sport Management. Over the years, I have progressed through several roles in the sport travel industry, working for organizations including USA Baseball and PrimeSport. Prior to my current endeavors, I was one of the original staff members in a company startup, Sports & Entertainment Travel. I had the opportunity to partner with over 40 Universities coordinating alumni and fan travel to football games, post-season bowl games, March Madness, the Masters, Kentucky Derby, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and more.

In 2017, I continued to grow my experience in the nonprofit sector, volunteering and helping organizations plan fundraising and awareness events to further their reach in the community. I was presented with an opportunity to work for Wounded Warrior Project in Chicago. I packed up a U-Haul, said a tough goodbye to Maryland, and spend over year in my new position in the windy city! In 2019, ready for a new challenge, I transitioned to another role on my team, settling for a daily view of the Front Range in Colorado Springs!

Personal Summary

When it’s time to take a break from planning events or being involved in community outreach projects, you will often find me with my German Shepard pup, Scout. I adopted her from the Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue, check them out, they are an awesome organization! I enjoy being physically active, whether it be a leisurely stroll around Red Rocks Open Space, the grueling incline in Manitou Springs, hot yoga, or a butt-kicking body pump class. I love historical fiction, cooking (current food blogger obsession is Laura Lea Balanced!) and believe that any stress can be made better by a big spoonful of Nutella.
